A few months ago I had a dream I was photographing a winter wedding; it had a lot of beautiful drama, ornate antiques, and whispy florals. “Lucky Ones” by Lana Del Rey was playing. After a couple of months of daydreaming about this wedding-that-didn’t-even exist, it became clear the only way my head and heart could get some relief was to just make it happen.
There is something so amazing about finally seeing the idea that has been swirling around in your head finally be brought to life. I honestly cannot say enough fantastic things about the lovely models and vendors who contributed their talent, creativity, and hard-work that made this styled winter wedding even more beautiful than it was in my dreams.

If you’ve liked our Facebook page or follow us on Instagram (which you totally should), you know I’ve already posted a few previews from this session. One of the main things that has been asked about is that wedding gown. It’s an amazing dress and fit so completely, utterly perfect with the theme of this shoot. It is actually a vintage wedding gown; Celeste’s mom and aunt both wore it to their own weddings!
Speaking of mothers, I would probably get a sassy text message in about 0.2 seconds if I failed to mention the creativity and literal blood and sweat my mom put into this shoot as well. Seriously, though, my mom is amazing with decor and everything you see here was from both her house and her sweet neighbor, Melissa’s, house.
So, here we are! Thank you thank you thank you, everyone, with the whole of my heart.
